Rosters published monthly for the 2 months ahead, so you can see up to 8-9 weeks ahead. Eg roster published 3 Jan takes you to end Feb.
130 days off per leave year, min 10 days off per month, 2 periods of 3 consecutive days off per month.
Up to 4 fights can be roster protected to limit scale of any changes to +/- 2hours. One of these per month can be +/- 1 hour.
AM/PM Preferences available for up to 30% of crew currently, based on balancing each group equally. |

3 groups, rotate each year. Bids alphabetical a-z summer, z-a winter, so possible you don’t get the dates off you want even if in first bid group. 37 days. No wrap round days. Maximum of 9 days to be taken mid may-end sept, max 18 days May 1 - Oct 31. No restriction on other months. Normally 10 days off a month, however if you take leave the company reduce the amount of days off they legally have to give you that month. For example 7 days leave reduces your normal days off by 3 days. Ie 14 days off total. 13 leave days reduces days off by 5. Ie 18days off that month total. |

Colleague Discount Scheme. Request hotels and flights via email, a bit hit and miss but occasionally in low season up to 50% off. In the summer it always gets denied due to the holidays selling well. company do offer £200 off one holiday. The £200 colleague discount is also an insurance policy for the company. If you use the discount and incur a 3hour delay on your flight you are prohibited from any subsequent claim under EU261. |

On track with recruitment targets. B757 drawdown successfully completed with all B757 colleagues attaining their base and fleet of choice. Now focussing on A321 introduction at EDI, GLA, LTN and STN as part of fleet introduction plan. Alongside A321 introduction there are plenty of B737 opportunities as the Boeing fleet is still going to play a major part in future developments. Reduced year round (Lifestyle) contracts have proved popular with more than 90% of applications being approved.

Three stages: Stage 1: online maths, verbal reasoning and personality tests emailed to you to be completed at home in your own time prior to the interview day (they will include the tests in your invite to interview email) Stage 2: Assesment day (in Bradford). They will start off with a presentation on the company and the various positions they have available ( 70%/100% and temporary contracts). Following this you will complete a group exercise followed by an interview usually with two pilots. The interviewers can be of any rank from FO up to Chief Pilot. Generally a relaxed chat with the standard interview questions. You should expect to hear the outcome immediately and if you’re successful you will be invited to the training centre for a sim session on the same day. Stage 3: Simulator. Due to capacity at the training centre most assessments are taking place on the 757 at present. You will be with two training captains, one operating the sim and one as your PM. All they are looking for is a good level of competency and the ability to improve. If you make a mistake or have a bad start don't worry, they will give you the opportunity to fix it and show what you have to offer. Practice aptitude and psychometric tests here. |
