Constant and very high turnover rate amongst first officers. The majority of first officers try to go elsewhere asap. Reasons are always the same: very low salary, extremely busy rosters (especially in summer), and pilot - management relations. A good first job in the cockpit, but no long term career (for most). Positives: Good training, good atmosphere amongst crew, reasonable OFF wishes and vacation requests are often granted as requested.
Recruitment is cyclical :
Assessments in late spring/summer. Type rating in autumn/early winter. line intro winter/early spring.
