Employment Situation For Pilots
last update
  Current Situation:
- 15/Dec/22

  Outlook:
Constant and very high turnover rate amongst first officers. The majority of first officers try to go elsewhere asap. Reasons are always the same: very low salary, extremely busy rosters (especially in summer), and pilot - management relations. A good first job in the cockpit, but no long term career (for most). Positives: Good training, good atmosphere amongst crew, reasonable OFF wishes and vacation requests are often granted as requested. Recruitment is cyclical : Assessments in late spring/summer. Type rating in autumn/early winter. line intro winter/early spring. 16/Feb/26

Bases For Pilots
last update
ZRH/LSZH main base. BRN /LSZB can be requested for summer seasons, but usually only 1 aircraft is stationed there at a time so very limited spots. BRN is a highly requested base especially amongst Capt, but increasingly amongst FO aswell.   16/Feb/26
