Operating both Global and 650 fleets with minimal staffing. Crews are generally speaking very tired and the new management (all transplants for the airline side) is making no effort to address any of the ongoing staffing needs and crew malcontent. Approximately 10-15% of flight staffers have now resigned as a result of the new management and its policies.
Currently looking for DEC on 650s.
FOs are looking at 10-15 years for potential upgrades, starting now, regardless of seniority. |

3 step process:
1)Applicant, if successful get sent a web logon to accomplish a number of online tests. Psych online test, reasoning, etc..
2) If successful in step 1: Telephone interview via Skype. Essentially an English proficiency test and a physical look-see at the candidate.
3) If successful in step 2: Invitation to come to Doha, you can expect a 50 questions EASA ATP test all subjects mixed. A 3 on 1 interview regarding your person, carrer, and a thorough logbook review.
A sim eval done on any of the Qatar Airways aicraft available at the time slot. The order of events varies greatly.
You may be advise of the outcome right away, within a day, within a week.
Keep in mind that your intake in the company could be at any time they see fit and they don't inform candidates particularly well. |
