English written and oral tests. Three to four days of psychometric testing (group exercise, written tests, two 3h-long coordination and situational awereness exams - one of them is the WOMBAT http://www.aero.ca/e_W_specs.html), interview with psychologist). Full day of medical exams (more restrictive than JAR-FCL). Simulator check on A319 Level D (inexperienced pilots fly by hand and do basic navigation and maneuvers; type-rated do engine fail at V1 followed by incapacitation). Final jury interview (Director of Flights Ops, Human Resources and Psychologist). |
