No direct entry captain, except in exceptional circumstances and from other easyJet bases. Minimum requirements for upgrade are 3500 factored hours and pass in the Command Assessment Process. Plenty of FOs who currently have the minimum requirements.Moreover, the upgrade process at EZS is particularly demanding, as it is completely different from the rest of the network — with a first-time failure rate of over 65%. |

All candidates have to pass psychometric tests, technical tests and multiple group & individual interviews supervised by HR or Line Training Captains.
If all stages are passed you will have to do a SIM check (Non TR on fixed based sim, A320 TR on a full flight sim) and a final interview with both HR and LTC.
If everything is passed and you are not yet rated on the A320 you will be invited to an A320 type rating course in one of CAE's bases, the course is fully paid by the candidate and is between 30'000-35'000 CHF. Practice aptitude and psychometric tests here. |
