Minimum age 21, German Abitur/high school, Working level knowledge of German. Full German speech and understanding required for psychological interview and group exercise, conflict meeting. Although applicants with higher experience got invited, only applicants without experience of other operators got employed in 2014. Exceptions only made if aircraft-owner insists in this detail.
Application only online through Interpersonal Hamburg (career.aero/dcaviation) - 1st day: assessment in Hamburg at IP: several computer tests (english, aviation knowledge, memory tests, multi task test, etc.), in the afternoon group exercise, conflict meeting and psychological interview; and for non experienced pilots only -> FNPT (instead of SIM-screening). 2nd day: simulator screening (for experienced / rated pilots only) B747 3rd day: personal interview with DC Aviation DO in Stuttgart
Since mid-2014, computer tests on day 1 differ completely from those known before. Practice aptitude and psychometric tests here.
