Staff travel Yes, easyJet only. Availability is generally very good but subject to load factors. All staff flights are £5/EUR5 plus tax/APD. 8 standby tickets also available for every flight, which may automatically upgrade to confirmed subject to availability. Staff travel for friends/family and dependants is also allowed.

Majority of workforce returned to original contracts or PT variation. Cadets being hired 10/Jul/22

Nearly 150 new Commands and over 300 new Co-Pilots this year. Outlook is for 200 cadets via MPL scheme with possibility of some DEP recruitment into the RHS. No DECs (apart from some European bases). 10/Apr/23

Cadets and Direct Entry 0-1250 Factored hours. All new joiners start on a permanent SO contract. First year on SO contract will be as per current figures, but will not accrue towards loyalty pay or bonus eligibility. 2 Years on SO contract required and >1250 factored hours to be promoted to FO. Recruitment Process

Majority of recruitment is done for cadets with many being tagged by 5 selected schools (CAE, L3, FTE, Skyborne and LE). Typically integrated is preferred but modular also being considered from selected schools. Recent launch of Low Hour Co-Pilots allowing any pilot regardless of background to apply. Initial application involves aptitude testing which if passed, will allow application to be formally submitted for viewing by recruitment team. If successful invited to final assessment day at CAE where you can expect a group exercise, interview and a sim assessment. If successful given type rating more straight away.
