Employment Situation For Pilots
last update
  Current Situation:
DAT in Denmark is technically just a legal entity with contract obligations and Danish crew employment, and a small customer service department in Bornholm Airport. OCC, MCC, main maintenance station and administration is located in Kaunas, Lithuania in the company DAT LT UAB. The DAT Group strategy has two focuses; PSO contracts in Europe (currently Norway, Germany and Italy) and short/long term ACMI and ad-hoc charter operations world wide. Airbus production is fully ACMI based. All flights operate on Lithuanian AOC. See DAT LT in Lithuania for conditions for new employments in Nordic Crew Supply and DAT LT UAB. 28/Dec/25

  Outlook:
No new hires into DAT in Denmark. All new hires are in DAT LT UAB via the subsidiary Nordic Crew Supply (NCS) based in Cyprus with contracter/freelancer conditions or in some cases direct employment in DAT LT UAB for Lithuanian residents. After approx 200 flight hrs employment, Scandinavian residents can apply to be transfered from being contractor/freelancer to direct employment in Denmark. 28/Dec/25
