Current
Situation: |
Company is growing and in significant need of FOs. Lots of flights happening with 2-3-4 captains due to lack of FOs.
Upgrade time right now around 8-9 years and won't improve anytime soon. Most likely going to take even longer since the company is not upgrading FOs fast enough and the airline has historically always resorted to DECs, so there's no guarantee they won't do it again.
Things change constantly in the company.
Overall a good gig, but there's plenty of room for improvement. |

Outlook: |
Positive, focus mainly on FO, upgrade time now around 8-9 years and won't change anytime soon. There are hundreds of FOs ready to be upgraded tomorrow if the company wishes so. Many opportunities within QR for captains only. Cockpit atmosphere generally good. Good training. Roster is improving, but don't count on commuting since this is not a commuting contract. Bidding system works well if you know how to use it. Leave attribution based on seniority. |
