Recruitment Process
last update
3-4 days assessment. All travel and accommodation costs are on own hand. 3-4 weeks after the assessments, if you are selected for the position: Additionally you must pass a Slovenian Initial Class 1 medical at AMC in Ljubljana + special national medical assessment + old-style psychological tests. - Even if you have a valid EASA class 1 medical! According to the number of applicants, below is subject to change. Day 1: Step 1 50 ATPL questions - must achieve 80 % to pass. If several applicants with 80 %, the best results are picked from the top. If below, the assessment ends for the applicant immediately. Step 2 Interview with HR and recruitment board. Normally 3 representatives. Asking regular HR questions about CRM - sometimes tech questions depending on the board and applicant's background. Day 2: Step 3 "Psychological" tests - (Mainly light COMPASS exercises), multitasking, joystick + pedals, math, interpolation in graphs/tables, 200 questions about your personality, finally interview with aviation psychologist based on the tests results and findings. Day 3/4: Step 4 Old FNPT2 KingAir 200 sim. ILS and non-precision app. + SID. The examiner will act MCC from the right side. Don't expect any detailed SOP or std. briefing before the ride. You will get the Lufthansa/Swiss app. plates of the airport and a home-made paper with some V-speeds, configurations and call outs. When everything is done, you are free to go home. Don't expect any information for the next 3-4 weeks. When you contact them, they would probably not answer. When they contact you with the outcome, you will only have the date where you must show up, for the already mentioned medical assessment and the planned starting day. Expect to be there from early morning to afternoon. If you pass or not, you will probably not know it before some days before the planned starting day. No terms and conditions + contracts are discussed at all before they contact you. Generally low information flow level. 9/Apr/18
