8 month initial line training period on 1200GBP/month, after having spent approx 1 year in a holding pool. Type rating costs 8kGBP plus a paper bond of 22.5kGBP which reduces over 3 years. Bond waived if CTC can't find you a flexicrew contract with easyJet after the first 8 months. Permanent contracts being offered to some ex-cadets for bases in France, Italy. 22/Sep/10

SO positions may appear due to the newly-agreed entry pay scales, negotiated between easyJet and BALPA. Pay rates slightly better than with CTC flexicrew scheme. Move up to FO after 1500 easyJet factored hours experience. [Flight school details: Through the CTC wings program, you have to be less than 34. Also Ab Initio's from CAE-NLS are recruited via CAE and from Oxford recruited via GECAT. Accept entry up to 40. Cadets must now pay for TR through CTC, approx GBP30k. Once through expect to work for GBP1000 per month refund of your fees for 6 months. Thereafter may get cabin crew work. Scholorship  
Sponsorship handled by CTC Wings, from whom easyJet currently source cadets. There are 4 stages in the selection process: the first hurdle consits of motivational essay questions, the second of aptitude tests and team exercises, then interview and finally a simulator ride.
