Some countries reached status quo in regards of social contributions paid by contractor pilots - Brookfield and Mcginley. Others are still hunting pilots down, i.e. Germany where police and tax authorities are raiding pilots homes and search for evidence of tax and social contributions frauds and evasions.

Pension Details for Ryanair Pilot Jobs

25 July 2012: Captains in bases where the "latest" deal is in place can put in E5,000 to their pension, which the company will match. Deducted montly from basic salary. For FO\'s its E2,500. Update: Nothing included for Brookfield or Storm McGinley contracters. New tax contributions(social security) compulsory of up to 45% of your gross salary, next to the income tax (pay as you earn) in Ireland of 21-41%. Employee pays it fully.

Up to 100 experienced pilots leaving per month, due to other airlines heavily recruiting and very bad contract situation. Company is doing nothing to hold their experienced people, even Base Captains, TRI, LTC and high hour pilots leaving.   6/Feb/17

Direct Entry 737 rated captains: At least 3,500 hours total flying time, a minimum of 2,000 hours on a Multi-crew, Multi-engine aircraft weighing in excess of 20,000kg with an established airline, a minimum of 800 hours (Pilot in Command) PIC on a medium Jet aircraft in excess of 20,000kg and a minimum of 500 hours PIC on the B737-300 to 900 series. Applicants must also hold a valid JAR-FCL or an EU National Licence, and must hold a valid European Passport with unrestricted right to work in the EU. UPDATE 18/3/2014: DEC positions due to shortage. Even calling former FR captains currently in Middle East to ask to come back. Update 07/06/2015: Must have operated on B737 as commander in last 36 months, otherwise they won't look at you. 8/Jun/15

Applies to JAR-FCL and National Licences). 5:Validity of Medical – Must hold a valid EU (Part-MED) issued Class 1 medical certificate. 6: Minimum 1,200 hours total flying time. 7: Minimum of 1,000 hours on a CS25* Type Aircraft. 8: Minimum 800 hours on the B737-300 to 900 series. 9: Applicant must have the B737 300-900 type rating listed on the Licence. 10: For JAA & EASA licence holders the application must be made within 36 months of the most recent B737 300-900 “Valid Until” date specified in Section XII “Certificate of Revalidation”. 11: English Language Proficiency – minimum required proficiency Level is Operational Level (Level 4). (Written proficiency is required at Operational level). (Reference: ICAO Doc 9835). 12: Must have operated on B737 300-900 within the 36 months prior to the course start date. 13:* CS-25 Certification Specifications applicable to turbine powered Large Aeroplanes.
