Assessment done at Stansted now. A brief interview with some basic personal & technical questions. You get a sim briefing and are given the plates (Sim Plates are not sent in advance and can be any of the airports Ryanair Use). The sim consists of 1 sid, some aerial work eg. steep turns and an approach and possibly an emergency eg. a door coming open. The 738 handles well but is quick. If you did your MCC in a 737-200 you are in for a suprise. Ask as many questions as you can think of during the briefing and before T/O. It costs 380 euros so you don't want to mess it up. Get on Flightsim there are some great 738 sims out there. Display is EFIS (clockwork presentation) not PFD/ND. Expect single engine work if experienced (on any type). |
