Even though pilots pay their own type rating, living expenses for 1 year, and line training fee, leaving bond since 15 apr 2011 is 50.000 usd. Flying many hours due to lack of pilots. loads of expat flight crew escaping, bad working condition: improvising scheduling, 2 stars to 4 stars hotels, inexistent social life.new rule form government to keep 10 planes grounded due to lack of crew,in reality only 1 is grounded.
6 runway overrun in the last 2 years3, tail strikes, and 4 volcano ash incursion due to tiredness of crews,and lack of time for training.
now hiring copilots from india due to better contract for the company, 2000 usd a month plus no hours. 8 year contracts, with 100.000 usd of bond.until the last year. |
